Country Gospel Singer's New Release Slated for Early 2013!
Los Angeles, CA 01/01/13 - Country Gospel singer, Joyce Shaffer, is about to release a much-anticipated song which she holds very dear and close to her heart. In the grand tradition of country artists, Joyce has written a song about her past and more specifically about her beloved mother and the lessons she taught her and others through her deep faith in God. The song's title tells you some of the story, "Mamma Was A Warrior" (With a Bible in Her Hand.)
Shaffer is not new to pulling from her past to make a point about life with her music. "Farmer's Pride" was about the hardships of life endured by her father and family as he toiled the earth as a sharecropper of dry land beans. Then there was her hit song, "Loretta's Shoes", about country great Loretta Lynn which Loretta loved. Joyce and Loretta Lynn have much in common and both write and sing about what they know best.
Over the last few years, Shaffer has graced the country charts time after time with her heartfelt music and is making a mark with each of her well-crafted songs that she hopes will help people remember the true importance and value of life. All you have to do is listen to one of her songs to know its undoubted truth. They reach down inside you and touches your heart to what life is truly all about. 2013 will open the doors to Joyce Shaffer's country gospel rise.

Country Singer Releases New Song of Faith For Christmas, "Rockin' With Jesus."
Los Angeles, CA. 11/28/11 - Country singer Joyce Shaffer who was newly inducted into America's Old Time Country Music Hall of Fame has just released another in a string of critically acclaimed songs. On the heels of her hit song "Loretta's Shoes", a tribute song to Loretta Lynn that is being considered for a Grammy, Joyce has written and recorded a song born after the sudden death of a close friend's husband. Her words speak clear and true to her friend and anyone who has lost a loved one. The song is about comfort in the knowledge that we will in time be reunited with those we love.
Shaffer draws from her life just as her singing idol Loretta Lynn has done and the result, inspired by God, rings true to those who hear it. "Rockin' With Jesus" has also been made into a music video and can be seen on YouTube.com. In the video, as the song says, we see the faces of those who have gone on to, "heaven's front porch." "God gives me the words and music and I sing it." Shaffer said, "Right after I learned of the death of my friend's husband, the words came to me. God knew it would help to ease her pain. I hope it comforts anyone who hears it or watches the video." Shaffer went on to say, " This song may not have reindeers or Santa Claus, but it is my Christmas song because it is about the true meaning of Christmas and the world's gift of salvation."
Shaffer will be making her way to Nashville after the first of the year to appear on the Shotgun Red Show with Steve Hall. People are taking notice of this patriotic country singer with an uncanny ability to reach your heart with her songs. Look to see "Rockin' With Jesus" hit the charts and look to see a lot more from this newly-minted Hall of Fame singer!
